Aubercy skins combine incredible durability and beauty.

All in suppleness: our leathers are always between 12 and 14 millimeters thick. All our skins remain on their assembly form for a month, to give them the curve and beauty of a lifetime.

Flat out

Our seams are double stitched for optimum strength.
And yet, they are of unmatched finesse.
Our seams are made with 5 stitches per centimeter of stitching:
the hole left by the needle is invisible and the thread tension is perfect.
A technical feat.

The quality of tailor-made. Ready-to-wear.

All our shoes have round, sticky half-smooths.
All our models are decorated with English edges, more difficult to achieve than a piped edge.
It is a technique, however, often reserved for large-scale measurements.

Unparalleled finesse

All our shoes feature a wheel, which completes the overflow of our shoes.
Our overflow is extremely thin, it is about 3 millimeters.
It is systematically milled with a 12-toothed wheel every 2.5 centimeters.
Elegance with finesse.

Goodyear stitched?

On request, we can sew your shoes with Goodyear welts, by hand.
This is then a "welted seam"
Our welt stitching is exceptionally fine.
It is of a quality equivalent to custom-made.

Reverse

Our soles end in a heel tail, the seams are doubled.
We pass a roulette through the groove of the heel.
The right end, the last layer of leather of the heel, is pegged 7 times.
And that's not all! Our heels are hand finished.
Beveled, they do not catch on the pants.
They are decorated with a star, the signature of an Aubercy.

The most beautiful soles for pounding the pavement

Our soles are always sewn under engraving.
A thick layer of leather protects the seams.
The sole leathers are chosen from “extra slow” tanning processes.
Our founder's signature adorns the soles.
